Dumfries and Galloway’s Local Employability Partnership (DGLEP) is a multi-agency partnership, established to provide strategic leadership for employability across the region.
We focus on those in our communities who need support the most.
All providers who deliver employability support across the region on behalf of DGLEP use the DG Works brand to promote their services.
What we do
Employability means different things to different people.
Whether that’s support to return to work through the removal of barriers, helping people find a career path that suits their aspirations, finding placement opportunities and everything else to get people work ready - that’s where we come in.
In the past year alone, we’ve supported almost 1,300 people through their employability journey.
The LEP takes forward actions locally from the Scottish Government’s No One Left Behind (NOLB) approach. NOLB aims to deliver a system that is more tailored and responsive to the needs of people of all ages who want help and support on their journey towards, into and in work.
People with health conditions and disabilities are at the heart of this approach but support is available more widely as no one should be left behind.
