Self-employment support
If you are interested in self-employment, your Key Worker will help you explore your next steps.
This will include help to find funding for training to get you started in your preferred industry, as well as signposting to other organisations who specialise in self-employment support such as South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) and Business Gateway.
Advancing Innovative Manufacturing in the south of Scotland (AIMS Project)

These are aimed not only at individuals with an interest in manufacturing and engineering (including digital manufacturing), but also those looking to try something new and develop some basic skills, e.g. numeracy, problem solving, hand tool skills.
